She was employed at Andrew Weil’s Program in Integrative Medicine from 1997 until 2007 where she designed curriculum and developed interactive web content for physicians who wanted to incorporate alternative modalities into their medical practice."The sciences, specifically human anatomy and physiology, have been my passion since childhood. Additionally, with the time I spent steeped in alternative medical modalities while working at the Program in Integrative Medicine, I’ve learned that the capacity to heal is innate. The body wants to be well and strives for a sense of balance. I carried this belief with me throughout my massage training." ~ Melissa Mason
